Q Are the U Channel Grates strong enough to drive on ?
A Yes ! The U Channel Base and Grates are designed for that purpose. They are designed to take the load of a standard motor vehicle. The Rainwater Pit and Grate will take a vehicle crossing but are Not designed for that purpose. Pedestrian areas recommended . Please visit our technical data pages for suggested installation.

Q Application - Are these products for Commercial application ?
A The Designer Grate system has been designed primarily for domestic application.

Q Are these products all Australian made
A Bloody Oath - 100% to the core!! However, we do distribute to our resellers in the US and UK and these drainage system products can be purchased world wide.

Q Manufacturing - What are the Designer Grate products manufactured from ?
A Rainwater Pit and U Channel Base are manufactured from heavy duty UV stabilised polypropylene.
A Designer Drain Grates are manufactured from virgin aluminium which provides strength and durability.

Q Cutting - Can I cut the Rainwater Pits ,U Channel Base and Grates
A Yes they can be cut with most power tools, hole saw, jigsaw, angle grinder, hacksaw etc

Q Colours - Will the colour last ?
A Yes, the colour range is powder coated or baked on at high temperature. It will last and is extremely hard wearing !

Q Installation ?
A You can organise your plumber, landscaper or concretor or DIY.
